Understanding your Spin Swing Golf Course Holes

Each page has the hole number at the bottom of the page.

You will see the yellow markers placed throughout each hole, these are the yardage markers that indicate the number of yards at that point of the hole. (e.g. If you spin the arrow to 280yards, place your colour pawn on the yellow marker that says ‘280yards’)

Each yardage marker also has a small golf club (Icon) below it. These club icons indicate the arrow spinners that you need to spin if you are on that yardage marker. (e.g. If you are on the ‘280yards’ marker, which has a #5 club icon below it, you must spin the #5 club arrow on the spinners to go the next distance.) If the arrow stops right in between the two yardage slots, spin again.

Each hole has a PAR icon located at the bottom of each whole. The PAR number is the number of strokes it should take to complete the hole.(see Notes for scoring system options)

      Rules

1. How To Play Spin Swing Golf!
2. Select a scorekeeper out of your group of players.
3. Place the game board in front of the person you have selected as the scorekeeper. Once you have established a starting rotation, each player will start and complete each hole before moving on to the next hole.
4. First, spin the arrow of the club required. You may start the spinner from any point marker; however the arrow must complete at least one full rotation of the spinner or you must spin again.
5. Move your playing piece to the yardage marker that indicates the number of yards your arrow landed on.
6. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the hole has been completed.
7. The scorekeeper will mark the score on the erasable scorecard located at the bottom right corner of the game board.
8. Once the first player has completed the first hole, pass the golf bag spinners to the next player and repeat steps 3 to 6 through each player.
9. Once each player has completed the hole, turn the page and move on to the next hole.
10. Repeat steps 3 through 5 for all the holes.
11. When each player has finished all the holes and the game has been completed, add up each players score and the player with the lowest score is declared the winner.

      Notes:

• If there are more than four players, you may choose to have each player complete two holes before moving the golf bag to the next player. This will speed up the game. You should allow approximately fifteen minutes per player to complete eighteen holes.
• When keeping score you may choose to write the actual score number, or for competitive reasons you may want to use the plus/minus system. In any case the golfer with the low score will be declared the winner.

  Hole 1: (4) strokes
  +Hole 2: (5) strokes = 9 strokes
• Plus/Minus System:
  
  Hole 1: (-1) (1 stroke under PAR) (4 stroke PAR, player completes whole in 3 strokes)
  +Hole 2: (+2) (two strokes over PAR) (4 stroke PAR, player completes whole in 6 strokes) = +1 strokes
• You will note that the scorecard has room to mark for eight players only. You may have to make up additional score sheets for tournament play.
